Sales and Return Policy
Please read these terms carefully before placing an order. All Babyclon® pieces are handcrafted collectible works of art subject to specific artisan production and return conditions.
⚠️ Artisan Notice: Babyclon® creations are solid silicone sculptures classified strictly as works of art made 100% through manual artisan processes. They are not mass-produced plastic toys and are not recommended for children.
1. Babyclon® Sales Policies
🎨 Manual Artisan Craftsmanship
Every sculpture is individually handcrafted. Unlike industrially molded plastics, platinum silicone surfaces naturally feature micro-variations. Small surface irregularities of 1 to 2 mm are an accepted, normal characteristic of handmade casting and do not constitute defects.
🧸 Collectible Art vs. Toys
Pieces are designed for adult collectors, display, and delicate handling. Using these sculptures as standard play toys can result in internal or structural damage.
🛠️ Accidental Damage & Repairs
While the studio is not liable for tears, damage, or wear caused by improper handling or misuse, our workshop always offers collector repair solutions at a reasonable, transparent cost.
2. Specifications & Production Schedule
• Production Start: Manufacturing commences only after all custom specifications, measurements, and order details are finalized and confirmed by the client.
• Timeline Adjustments: Any delay in confirming final specifications or completing scheduled installment payments directly shifts the workshop's production calendar and estimated delivery date.
3. Babyclon® Return & Cancellation Policy
Deposit Retention (Pre-Production)
Under no circumstances is the initial 20% reservation deposit refundable once submitted. This deposit covers unit allocation, material reservation, and dedicated workshop scheduling.
Mid-Production Cancellation
If casting or manufacturing has already started, the 20% second payment is also non-refundable, as it directly finances consumed platinum silicone batches and artisan labor hours.
Delivered Merchandise
Once a sculpture is completed, shipped, and received in good structural condition, returns or refunds based on a change of mind are strictly prohibited.
4. Two-Week Limited Warranty & Defect Claims
All delivered Babyclon® sculptures include a two-week (14-day) limited warranty starting on the date of delivery to inspect the artwork for verified manufacturing defects:
- Free Studio Repair: If an authentic manufacturing defect is confirmed within this 14-day window, the studio will repair the issue at zero cost to the client.
- Hair Exclusion: Hand-rooted mohair and eyelashes are subject to individual handling, styling, and friction, and are explicitly excluded from manufacturing defect coverage.
- No Full Replacements: Because each piece is a custom-cast artistic mold, defective pieces will be professionally restored via studio repair rather than replaced with a new unit.
- Post-Warranty Wear: After the initial 14-day inspection window expires, Babyclon® cannot be held responsible for subsequent tears, friction wear, peeling, or environmental damage.
Refund in Lieu of Repair: If a verified manufacturing defect is determined during the 14-day period and the client elects to receive a refund rather than studio repair, funds will be returned minus 40% (retaining the 20% reservation deposit and 20% phase-one material/labor allocation).
